KANGAR, PERLIS — The Five-Nation Stamp Exhibition Perlis, Malaysia 2026 will be held from 25th to 27th September 2026 at Dewan 2020, Kangar, Perlis bringing together stamp collectors, exhibitors and visitors from Malaysia and abroad.
Organised by the Philatelic Society Malaysia (PSM) and Perlis State Secretary Incorporation (PSSI), the exhibition features participation from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia, with Bangladesh joining as a guest country.
The event is supported by the State Government of Perlis, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Ministry of Education, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Pos Malaysia Berhad, Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP), various government agencies and other stakeholders.
The exhibition also coincides with the centenary of FIP, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026, adding further significance to this international philatelic gathering.
A total of 98 exhibits comprising 325 frames will be displayed, covering 29 competitive classes and categories, including Traditional Philately, Postal History, Aerophilately, Revenue, Thematic Philately, Picture Postcards and Youth Philately.
The future of the hobby will also be highlighted through the participation of 15 youth exhibitors aged between 10 and 21, including eight representatives from Malaysia. Displays and activities involving Kelab Setem dan Filateli (KESEF) will provide further opportunities for schoolchildren to discover the educational value of stamp collecting.
According to the President of the Philatelic Society Malaysia and Chairman of the Organising Committee, Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali, visitors will have an opportunity to view a diverse selection of competitive exhibits covering subjects from Malaysia and around the world.
“The 98 exhibits presented across 325 frames represent years of collecting, research and careful presentation by exhibitors. They cover a fascinating range of subjects related to history, culture, heritage, personalities, transportation and the development of postal services,” he said.
“Visitors do not need to be experienced collectors to appreciate these exhibits. Each collection tells a story, and we hope the exhibition will help the public better understand how stamps and postal materials preserve important records of our shared history.”

The Manager of PSSI and Co-Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mohd Irzat Rozaidy bin Mohamad Roseli, said the supporting attractions were planned to provide a broader and more enjoyable experience for visitors.
“We want this to be an event that can be enjoyed by everyone, not only stamp collectors. The markets, food and beverage offerings, as well as the various sales counters will create a lively atmosphere for families, young people and visitors to Perlis,” he said.
Pos Malaysia Berhad will also issue special philatelic products on 25 September 2026. Visitors will have the opportunity to obtain a unique commemorative cancellation specially prepared for the exhibition, making it an exclusive souvenir of the event.
A total of 10 stamp dealers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the United Kingdom will be present, offering stamps, first-day covers, postcards, postal history materials and other collectibles. Visitors can also meet experienced collectors, learn more about the hobby and explore the historical and cultural stories preserved through stamps.
The Five-Nation Stamp Exhibition is a rotational regional event aimed at strengthening philatelic cooperation and encouraging greater public and youth participation. Indonesia hosted the exhibition in Bandung in 2025, Malaysia is hosting the 2026 edition, and Singapore is expected to host it in 2027.
With its combination of competitive philatelic exhibits, special Pos Malaysia Berhad products, international stamp dealers, markets, food and community activities, the exhibition promises something for collectors, families and visitors of all ages.
